Responsibilities
- Commission, edit and publish 15-20 Finance and Business stories per month
- Manage a team of 4 contributing writers and 1 staff reporter
- Develop editorial calendar with 6-week forward planning
- Collaborate with Head of Editorial on strategy and audience development
- Ensure all published content meets Delviews's accuracy and style standards
Requirements
- 5+ years in editorial, journalism or digital media
- Demonstrable experience editing financial or business content
- Strong command of African economic and business context
- Experience managing freelance contributors
- Excellent written English; French is a bonus

Own Delviews's investigative reporting unit. Break original stories on governance, business malpractice and societal issues affecting everyday Africans.
Responsibilities
- Pitch and execute 2-4 major investigations per quarter
- Conduct interviews, FOIA requests and document analysis
- Work with editors on legal review of sensitive stories
- Build and maintain a network of sources across Africa
- Collaborate with fact-checkers and editorial leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years in investigative or accountability journalism
- Track record of original, bylined investigations
- Familiarity with document verification and source protection tools
- Strong ethical judgement and newsroom discipline

Shape Delviews's growing video presence by editing scripts for YouTube long-form, short-form social and documentary-style explainers. You'll work closely with producers and on-camera talent.
Responsibilities
- Edit 6-10 video scripts per month across multiple formats
- Ensure scripts are accurate, compelling and on-brand
- Adapt written articles into video-friendly narrative structures
- Collaborate with video producers and the editorial team
Requirements
- Experience writing or editing for video - broadcast, YouTube or documentary
- Strong storytelling instincts and pacing sense
- Ability to work to tight production schedules

Own the daily and weekly Delviews newsletter products. Curate, write and optimise editions that reach 28,000+ subscribers. You will grow opens, clicks and subscriber count.
Responsibilities
- Write and send 3 newsletter editions per week
- Curate top stories from across all Delviews categories
- Write original newsletter-exclusive commentary
- Analyse open rates, click-through rates and optimise subject lines
- Manage list growth campaigns with the marketing team
Requirements
- Experience running an email newsletter at any scale
- Strong editorial curation skills
- Comfortable with email marketing tools (Beehiiv, Mailchimp or similar)
- Data-literate - can read performance reports and draw conclusions

Design and run the systems that keep Delviews's editorial machine operating at scale. Own the CMS, workflows, contributor pipeline, fact-check processes and editorial tech stack.
Responsibilities
- Own the editorial CMS configuration and workflow tooling
- Build and maintain contributor onboarding and management systems
- Manage fact-check and legal review workflows
- Coordinate between editorial, tech and product teams
- Report on editorial KPIs to the CEO and investors
Requirements
- 4+ years in editorial or content operations at a media company
- Strong project management skills and systems thinking
- Experience with CMS platforms, editorial workflows and tooling
- Excellent stakeholder communication
